Why We Cycle is a documentary on the impact of cycling on citizens, society, and cities.
The film will be preceded by a presentation on biking in Lebanon by Philippe Dagher, the Bicycle Mayor of Beirut. Following the screening, a free group ride will depart from the Sursock Museum at 17:30. Bikes will be available; reservation is required to participate.
The Chain Effect promotes and facilitates cycling as a sustainable means of transport in Beirut through street art, community projects, public interventions, and planning.
